Not a bad place but it's old, a little bit creepy and there is not much things to do.
I had a great experience with my stay here. The room was well cleaned and very comfortable. The owner very helpful. The pool looked clean but I didn't swim. The hotel is very conveniently located and we like to stay there when visiting family. It has lovely outdoor seating areas and a good river view. My room fridge was very fresh.
We love this place. We affectionately call it "the squirrel" in honor of a quirky tire swing on the grounds, in the shape of, you guessed it... a squirrel! :)Yes, this motel is older. But the owners are putting so much work into it. Things are not new but if you take a close look, they are constantly trying to improve your experience. The place is full of little touches to make your stay easier and more enjoyable.We love how you can sit on a bench and watch the ships on the Fleuve. We love all the flowers, plants and gardens they tend to on the grounds. We love this place. It's unpretentious and real. And the owners are putting a lot of heart into it. We love that and are very grateful for it. :)Anytime we're in Sorel for a rodeo, we love to stay at "the Squirrel" when they have a room available. :)
Nice for the price. The man seem to speak better English then French. The sign in front of the motel it less than asking price. Sheet are older hard to know if they are clean. No coffee machine. Room is large with microwave does have a big fridge. Swimming pool seem to be nice. Good air conditioning
Do not come early. Nice pool, weird electrical.
